Mission
Working in partnership with the community and area businesses to reduce child maltreatment and "teenage pregnancies," through education and supportive services for parents and children.
The Parent-Child Center can improve outcomes by:
- Preventing crimes by teaching effective decision making and offering resources to families
- Reducing welfare costs by teaching parents independence and self sufficiency
- Impacting the current and future parenting skills of Washington County residents
- Keeping families together thus decreasing the costs of out of home placement, i.e., Foster Care or residential treatment
- Breaking the chain of child abuse in Washington County
